Sup people? enjoying your week? I sure am!
Anyway, some announcements I feel obliged to make:

In January I put the word out that I needed some art for a game that I would make, but I'm going to put that on hold for now. I realized I needed to hone my skills and improve some other things in my life before I get to do this project. It's quite huge, you know? and I'd have to do everything, from the engine to the actual setting of the game, a lot of work, and quite unobtainable given my current circumstances.
So this project's on hold now

I upgraded my computer's software around easter so now I'm running Windows 7 64 bits and Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Linx) 64 bit as well, on it. And just because of that I needed to change the programs in which I do art. I Windows I can still use Paint.NET, but it's getting kind of old, and it's not so practical for digital painting. I can't use the GIMP, with my tablet, on Windows for some incompatibility issues between the tablet driver, the GTK+ and Windows 64 bits. Meaning I'm screwed there. On Ubuntu my tablet won't work altogether. Well, it worked a few days ago, painstakingly, but now it won't do a thing! gah, I'm gonna need some help there. So if any of you know how to fix this, can you tell me how?

So far the experience on Ubuntu has been nice, obviously the change has been hard but well worth it. It makes me feel good that I'm making part of a community that gives this because it wants to give it, and not expecting money or any other mundane thing like that. It's a great thing.

I'll be doing the cover picture for the album of a friend, it's gonna be awesome! but first I need to ask him again, I also haven't contacted him for like 3 months. I hope he isn't angry...

I deleted every message I had in my message center, I had like 11000... If you feel that I should look at something be sure to note me, or tell me.
I guess that's it for now, and if you read all that wall of text here I congratulate you! I think I haven't wrote this much in a journal before...
See you there guys
