Artist's Comments

Ok, I did this today, spend the whole afternoon doing it, good, huh?

I know that it's a really cliche image, but this worked great as Paint.NET practice, it was really fun doing this, and I certainly do it again (note to myself: do the glowing last before flattening)

It's size is good for a wallpaper, it's only 8 pixels short in width, for a 1024 screen, that is. If you would like to use as a wallpaper, go ahead! I'll be honored if you do so ^^;

All made in Paint.NET, do not modify.

That's cool. Idk if your note to self has anything to do with this, but the shadow on the planet doesn't look too great, The shadow needs to have at least of gradience on the edges at least. I don't know about computers, but I do know what I've learned in my painting classes.

I guess it wasn't what I wanted
It wasn't really what i thought
I thought it was the day I got it
I want it all to go away

Yeah, my note to myself has to do with it... I know that the shadow in the rings looks terrible, I need to work on that. As for the shadow of the planet, it is a gradient, but judging for where the light is coming it looks weird. I'll get better over time, you'll see =)

Alright. As long as you noticed it. I still like how you did everything else. Just trying to help without being annoying. Can't wait to see how you fix it, I'm sure you'll do a great job :)
